Oh, how rude of me! I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Lucas and I´m a 34-year-old Brazilian/Italian/Australian creative and filmmaker. Thank you for taking the time to look at my website, that’s very kind of you.

Born and raised in Sao Paulo, I lived there until the young age of 25. I then decided to pack up my things and move to Florence, Italy, where I learned all I could about art and the Italian way of life. My next life step took me to the beautiful and energetic Barcelona, where I lived happily for 4 amazing years. But once again, the itch for travel and discovery struck and I decided on Sydney as my next destination. And well, here I am now, still in love with life.

I’m proud to say that outside of my creative pursuits, my next passion lies in helping other people. Whilst in Barcelona, I volunteered at an orphanage every single Sunday for two years (one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life) and I was also part of a clown group that would visit hospitals around Spain spreading smiles & happiness. In Sydney I’ve volunteered for the Starlight Children´s Foundation (at the Sydney Children’s Hospital) and at The Salvation Army. And while this might sound strange, I love giving blood/plasma and currently, at this very moment, there are people dancing around with my blood in Brazil, Spain and Australia!

In the last 10 years I’ve worked as a Creative and Filmmaker in 4 countries across 3 continents (Brazil, Italy, Spain and Australia). In that time I’ve won numerous pitches and more than 30 international awards, including 5 Cannes Lions (1 being a prestigious Creative Effectiveness Lion), Grand Prix at Spikes Asia, 2 golds at the NY Clio Awards, silver at the New York Festivals, 2 Effie Awards and I was chosen Creative of the Year by Argentinean magazine SoyDG, among many other accolades.

5 films in which I was involved either as a creative or director went viral, gathering millions of views around the world. My films were picked up by the most powerful press & blogs in more than 50 countries, including ABC News in New York, NHK TV channel in Japan, SBT TV channel in Brazil, The Huffington Post (number 1 most powerful blog in the world), BuzzFeed (number 2 most powerful blog in the world), The Australian & Herald Sun in Australia, Creative Review in UK, La Vanguardia in Spain and YouTube Trends, just to mention a few.
